Marine Pump Service That Keeps Vessels Moving

Every vessel is a web of pumps — and most of them are critical. Fail a bilge pump and you lose dewatering capability. Fail a ballast pump and you lose trim control. Fail a main engine cooling pump and you've lost propulsion. Our marine pump practice focuses on the fleet of pumps that keep a vessel safe and operational, with the fast turnaround commercial operators need.

Marine Pump Applications

  • Bilge pumps — primary and emergency dewatering systems, including Coast Guard-required redundancy.
  • Ballast pumps — ballast water management system (BWMS) integration and primary ballast pump service.
  • Engine cooling pumps — raw water and jacket water circulation, auxiliary cooling systems.
  • Fuel transfer pumps — between tanks, to day tanks, from deck fill, and fuel polishing systems.
  • Firefighting pumps — vessel fire protection pumps to SOLAS and Coast Guard standards.
  • Sewage & gray water pumps — MSD (marine sanitation device) and gray water systems.
  • Sanitary & domestic water pumps — potable water pressure, hot water circulation.
  • Hydraulic & deck machinery pumps — anchor windlass, capstans, cranes.

Dockside & Shop Service

Most marine pump work is performed dockside — we come to the vessel wherever it's berthed in the Port of NY/NJ or along the Tri-State coast. For major overhauls, rebuilds, or pumps requiring precision machining, the unit comes to our Brooklyn facility and is tested before being returned to the vessel.

Emergency Vessel Response

A disabled vessel is a billable-day-lost problem for commercial operators. Our marine dispatch can get a technician alongside most Port of NY/NJ berths within 2–4 hours of call-in. For vessels in transit or at less accessible berths, we coordinate travel to your location.
